The FDA-approved 3M Littmann CORE stethoscope lets you switch between analog and amplified listening, so you decide how you want to listen during the exam. Thanks to the adjustable diaphragm technology (an invention of 3M), you can hear different sound frequencies by simply adjusting the pressure on the chest piece. When placing the chestpiece on the patient with light pressure, you will hear low-frequency sounds; a little more pressure produces the high-frequency sounds. Soft sealing earplugs conform to the ear for maximum comfort and excellent ambient noise blocking.
The 3M Littmann CORE stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, giving you a HIPAA-compliant way to store and annotate 15-, 30-, 60-, or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor the progress of a disease or for education and share the recordings securely with colleagues.
The 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope is a 3M Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope with a pre-mounted CORE digital attachment. Please refer to the respective user manuals for instructions on use.
